A Taste of Boracay at Aria Cucina Italiana BGC

This Friday for lunch, we dined at Aria Cucina Italiana in BGC. Aria has now become synonymous with good times at the beautiful island paradise that is Boracay where the restaurant first served thier Italian cuisine to hungry beach goers. It has branched out from its white sand shores and now, it is finally here in Manila. Being Aria Boracay fans ourselves, we couldn't wait to try their dishes and reminisce about good times in Bora, which we won't share with you.

 Abstract paintings line the walls

Divider made of wire wrapped in paper mache. The overall vibe is chill and laid back, much like the one in Bora.

 Aria Shake

Yna, doing what she does best

 Marinara Pizza

Salmone al Pepe Verde. The sauce is heavenly!

Discover Aria Cucina Italiana in the Metro located at UG/F Bonifacio High Street Central, East Superblock, 7th Ave. cor. 29th St., Fort Bonifacio

Hitting the Tea Spot at Da.u.de Tea Lounge

We had lunch last Friday at Da.u.de Tea Lounge. We've always wanted to try this Tea Lounge since Tea is all the rage right now. You see Tea brands popping up everywhere coming up with their own concoctions so where better place to satisfy our Tea fetish than at Da.u.de. We knew that we were in good Tea hands upon knowing that the owner is the only and the first certified Tea master in the country.
 Cute display of pastries

Multi-colored Tea containers give the wall character

Although we didn't order their hot teas or high tea, which is like the speciality of any Tea Lounge, their dishes and cold beverages, all infused with Tea, didn't disappoint. We bet it's as good as their hot counterparts.

Cholo's order:
Lemon Thirst Quencher

 Crisp Pork Banh Mi

Yna's order:
Cajun Watermelon Smash

 Gravlax and Feta

The interiors are so chic!

Satisfy your Tea fetish at Da.u.de Tea Lounge located at 4th Ave. and 26th St. GF Net Lima Building, 1634, Bonifacio Global City.

Peace and Love,
Cholo and Yna

Eyes On the Premio

After being spotted at the opening of Philippine Fashion Week last Tuesday, Erika and I had dinner at the newly opened Premio. Their cuisine is mainly Filipino but with an international modern spin to it. Everything we ordered was delicious plus the ambiance was fantastic! Erika and I just had endless chats and endless instagrams of food porn (BTW i have instagram already! follow me: mistercholo).

Chillin' at the couch while waiting for our orders

 Caesar Salad

 Chicken Kara-age

Their specialty: Karekare. They make the sauce from scratch....

....and it's served with Bagoong rice. Mmm..mmm...

 Erika, digging in!

For dessert, Panna cotta made with goat's milk.

Head on over to Premio, located at 32nd Street, F1 Hotel- Ground Floor, 1634 Fort Bonifacio.

Peace,
Cholo
